    Dr. J.Michael and Janet Burns

Dr. J. Michael Burns has pastored Word of Victory Outreach Center in Canton, Texas since 1991. He served for 12 years on church staffs in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area prior to coming to Word of Victory 

He was also headmaster of a Christian school in addition to his staff positions in the metroplex and is the founder of Victory Christian School in Canton, Texas. Dr. Burns is the president of J. Michael Burns Ministries, an organization dedicated to leadership training. He holds a doctorate from Oral Roberts School of Theology in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Janet Burns has a heart for women and a desire to see them succeed in being all that God wants them to be. She has taught for many years on topics such as, "How to Raise Godly Children", "Being a Woman of Prayer" and much more.

Pastor Mike and Janet have been married for 30 years and they have two children, Christopher and Bethany. Both children are currently serving in ministry.

    Chris and Mandy Lyda

Pastors Chris and Mandy Lyda have served as youth pastors at Word of Victory Outreach Center but have recently transitioned to Young Married Couples. The Lydas background include Teen Mania Ministries and Triumph Church of Southeast Texas. Combining years of youth ministry into one package has produced a dynamic team.

Pastors Chris and Mandy have a dynamic heart for families and world missions. They have an uncompromising desire to see young couples changed which is displayed through their relationships, preaching and lives.

Pastors Chris and Mandy have been married for 6 years and have a two year old daughter named Raema.

 Curtis and Phyllis Clardy

Curtis Clardy serves as the children’s pastor at Word of Victory Outreach Center. He served in youth ministry for nine years before attending Word of Victory.

Curtis’ heart for children is evident in the fun-filled energetic atmosphere the children’s department radiates. His creative sound and lighting together with his gift of teaching make Children’s Church an exciting time of learning God’s Word.

Josh Engebretson

Josh Engebretson is the youth pastor of Genuine Youth. Josh grew up at Word of Victory Outreach Center and graduated from Canton High School. After attending Christ for the Nations for 2 years, Josh is currently enrolled at Criswell Bible seminary in Dallas pursuing a degree in theology.

Josh has an uncomprimising gift of evangelism and a heart to see people discipled. Look for great things to come from Josh as he leads Genuine youth to a new level.
