“I CAN”
“I can do ALL things through Christ which gives me strength.” (Phil. 4:13)
FEAR SAYS, “I CAN’T” ~
FAITH SAYS, “I CAN.”
- Fear says, “It’s too hard.”
- Faith says, “He who is in you is GREATER than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)
- Fear says, “ We tried that already and nothing has helped.”
- Faith says, “Jesus, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net. And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish and their net was breaking.” (Luke 5:5,6)
- Fear says, “There’s no way it will work out. Everything is terrible.”
- Faith says, “We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Rom. 8:28)
- Fear says, “It’s hopeless and impossible.”
- Faith says, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23)
- Fear says, “I’m all alone and don’t know what to do.”
- Faith says, “I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” (Isa. 41:13)
- Fear says, “I’m afraid, there’s so much crime and violence.”
- Faith says, “Whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure without fear of evil.” (Prov. 1:33)
- Fear says, “Life’s pressures are overwhelming. I can’t cope.”
- Faith says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Tim. 1:7)
- Fear says, “I’m so worried, I can’t sleep.”
- Faith says, “When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.” (Prov. 3:24)
- Fear says, “I’ve sinned and done too much for God to love me.”
- Faith says, “I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, not things to come, nor height, nor depth, not any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love God which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord.” (Rom. 8:38,39)
